Job Objective

• To support the financial operations of a QSR brand by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and contributing to cost management and reporting.

• To assist in preparing financial statements, managing cash flow, and streamlining processes to enhance operational efficiency while adhering to company policies and deadlines.

Essential Job Tasks

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax laws in India.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Areas of Responsibility

1. Accounting & Recordkeeping:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Process invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements efficiently.

 

2. Financial Reporting:

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Compile data for budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Provide insights and support in financial decision-making.

 

3. Taxation & Compliance:

• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in compliance with Indian regulations.

• Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors to provide necessary documentation.

• Monitor compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.

 

4. Cost Management:

• Track and analyze operational costs, including food, labor, and overhead expenses.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to process improvements.

 

5. Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor daily cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.

• Prepare and maintain cash flow projections to support financial planning.

 

6. Vendor & Outlet Coordination:

• Coordinate with vendors for timely payments and resolve payment-related issues.

• Support outlet managers in financial queries and ensure adherence to financial processes.

 

7. Technology & Process Optimization:

• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.

• Suggest improvements to streamline financial workflows.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA Inter or MBA in Finance is a plus.

Work Experience

2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the QSR, hospitality, or retail sectors.
