Job Objective

To lead and manage all fire, life safety, emergency preparedness, and statutory compliance
programs across the property, ensuring the safety of guests, associates, contractors, and assets.

Essential Job Tasks

Train and mentor associates on fire safety awareness.
• Conduct induction and refresher training programs.
• Build a strong safety culture across departments.

Areas of Responsibility

Develop and implement fire and life safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local fire regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections, risk assessments, and fire audits.
• Maintain fire detection, alarm, suppression, hydrant, sprinkler, and emergency systems.
• Organize mock drills, emergency response exercises, and evacuation training.
• Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and safety violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with government authorities, fire department officials, and external agencies.
• Monitor contractor safety and ensure adherence to permit-to-work systems.
• Maintain statutory records, certifications, and compliance documentation.
• Lead emergency response during fire or life safety incidents.

Required Qualifications

Graduate in any discipline; Degree/Diploma in Fire & Safety preferred

Work Experience

Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in hospitality, commercial buildings, manufacturing, or
related industries.
• Knowledge of fire codes, emergency response, risk management, and statutory compliance.
