Job Objective
To contribute to Vivanta Jamshedpur’s room‑division sales by driving corporate room bookings, delivering prompt client coordination, and supporting the sales team to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Essential Job Tasks
- Handle corporate room bookings through timely communication, follow‑ups, and confirmations.
- Support the sales team by preparing proposals, contracts, rate sheets, and booking updates.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, bookings, and client details in sales systems.
- Coordinate with Front Office & Reservations to ensure smooth check-ins, room allocations, and guest requirements.
- Follow up with clients for revenue opportunities, room blocks, and repeat business.
- Assist in preparing sales reports, occupancy forecasts, and market updates.
- Respond promptly to emails and calls to ensure high service standards and quick turnaround.
- Coordinate site visits and client meetings to showcase rooms and facilities.
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of corporate stays and group movements.
- Maintain client relationships through professional communication and service excellence.
Areas of Responsibility
- Drive room‑division business by supporting corporate sales and maximizing room bookings.
- Coordinate communication between clients, Sales, Reservations, and Front Office.
- Manage booking requirements including rate sharing, confirmations, amendments, and follow‑ups.
- Maintain updated client records and ensure accurate entry in sales systems.
- Assist in preparing reports related to room revenue, occupancy trends, and client performance.
- Ensure seamless guest experience by coordinating special requests and group room blocks.
- Build strong client relationships to support repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
Required Qualifications

- Graduation (Any Stream) or Higher Secondary (12th Pass)
- Hotel Management Degree or Diploma from a recognized institute
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations, preferably in Rooms or Sales
- Proficiency in MS Office and email communication
Work Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in the hospitality industry
- Experience supporting Sales, Reservations, or Front Office functions preferred
- Familiarity with room bookings, client coordination, and hotel systems
- Experience in interacting with corporate clients is an added advantage
Languages Needed in Position
- English – Fluent (spoken and written)
- Hindi – Fluent (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of any additional regional language (Bengali/Odia) is an added advantage
