Job Objective

Passionate culinary professional seeking a Commis III Chef position to contribute to high-quality food preparation and kitchen operations. Dedicated to learning from senior chefs and maintaining hygiene and consistency in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Essential Job Tasks

 

1.      Assist in Food Preparation – Support senior chefs by preparing ingredients, basic cooking, and plating under supervision.
2.     🧼 Maintain Hygiene Standards – Ensure cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and adherence to food safety protocols.
3.     📦 Stock and Inventory Support – Help with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
4.     🔪 Knife and Equipment Handling – Safely operate kitchen tools and equipment for chopping, mixing, and cooking tasks.
5.     📋 Follow Recipes and Instructions – Execute dishes according to standardized recipes and chef instructions to maintain consistency.

Areas of Responsibility

1.     🔪 Basic Culinary Tasks – Execute fundamental cooking duties such as chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes under supervision.
2.     🧼 Sanitation and Safety – Uphold strict hygiene standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
3.     📋 Recipe Adherence – Follow standardized recipes and instructions to maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
4.     🧊 Storage and Organization – Assist in proper storage of ingredients and maintain organized workstations.
5.     🤝 Team Collaboration – Support senior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service.

Required Qualifications

3 year degree course in Hotel Management/Culinary

Work Experience

1-2 year of experience.
