Job Objective
IT managers set the strategic direction — defining objectives, building the IT roadmap, and allocating the budget. Works closely with the CIO and other IT leaders to establish best practices, policies, and team workflows. Must be acquanted with Guest centric approach .
Essential Job Tasks
• Managing the portfolio of application systems software, hardware and infrastructure part of telecommunicate action systems for the unit.
• Must be well versed with Systems and Applications used in Hospitality domain including PMS , POS , Financial Applications , Guest Services Applications etc..
• Must have a thorough understanding of Networks, Virtualization and Cloud.
• Must have a thorough understanding of the Servers and End computing devices and MDM.
• Must be abreast of MIS procedures so as to keep relevant stakeholders well informed of IT Initiatives and policies.
Areas of Responsibility
• To interface between the user community and technology team, and work with vendors to develop and deploy solutions with the objective of providing solutions to meet the IT Requirements within the framework of C LIENT corporate strategy.
• To effectively manage the Service Desk aspects and ensure timely resolution of the Incidents within the stipulated SLA commitments.
• Asset Management.
• Timely execution of IT sphere projects as per the guidelines of the Corporate IT.
• Must ensure the 24*7 Coverage of IT support.
• Must ensure timely upgrade of systems and technologies to keep them current and relevant in accordance to the defined IT policies.
• Must be able to ensure the implementation of all critical security initiatives to keep systems and Data protected.
• Must ensure and demonstrate the ability to communicate and coordinate periodic roll out of IT initiatives across all levels.
• Strong Vendor Management.
• Must ensure periodic DR Drills and should be able to redefine the BCP / DR documents to keep them relevant and current with changing technological landscape.
Additional Information-

Required Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in the Field of IT. Additionally, min 4 years’ experience in a like position in other chain Hotel
• System-related professional certifications, Business Administration certifications desired.
• Hotel operations experience and demonstrated hospitality management skills
• Experienced in network hardware, Hotel applications, peripherals, protocols, communications, operating
Work Experience
