Job Objective

To lead and manage the revenue generation and reservation functions for amã Stays & Trails Bungalows, ensuring revenue maximization through strategic forecasting, market-driven pricing updates, rate parity across OTA channels, and accurate content management. Additionally, to develop and implement long-term strategies that enhance RevPAR, profitability, and market share, while fostering value-based customer relationships.

Areas of Responsibility

1. Revenue Optimization

Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize revenue per available room (RevPAR) and overall profitability across all properties.

Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand to adjust pricing strategies dynamically.

Monitor and adjust rates based on occupancy levels, seasonal demand, and market conditions.

 

2. Forecasting and Budgeting

Support the preparation of revenue forecasts and help develop annual revenue budgets for each property.

Track performance against forecasts and recommend adjustments to meet financial goals.

nalyze past performance data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue growth.

 

3. Demand and Inventory Management

Assist in managing inventory and room availability to optimize occupancy and revenue.

Coordinate with the reservations team to ensure optimal allocation of room types across different distribution channels.

Implement strategies to minimize overbooking and underbooking risks while maintaining high occupancy levels.

 

4. Reporting and Data Analysis

Provide regular reports on key revenue metrics such as occupancy rates, average daily rate (ADR), and RevPAR.

Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improving revenue performance.

Present findings and recommendations to senior management to inform decision-making.

 

5. Market and Competitor Analysis

Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand market trends, pricing strategies, and new opportunities.

Analyze customer behavior, booking patterns, and market demand to refine pricing and promotional strategies.

Stay updated on industry trends, market shifts, and customer preferences.

 

6. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams

Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted promotions and special offers that drive bookings during low-demand periods.

Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for group bookings, corporate accounts, and long-term stays.

Ensure alignment between pricing strategies and sales/marketing initiatives.

 

7. Distribution Channel Management

Assist in managing online and offline distribution channels (OTAs, direct bookings, etc.) to optimize revenue.

Ensure correct pricing and availability are reflected on all booking platforms.

Support efforts to drive direct bookings through the brand’s website, minimizing commission fees paid to OTAs.

 

8. Forecast Accuracy and Financial Reporting

Contribute to the accuracy of revenue forecasts by providing real-time updates on market conditions and booking trends.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of revenue performance to senior management.

Highlight any discrepancies or trends in forecast versus actual performance and suggest corrective actions.

 

9. Process Improvement and Best Practices

Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline revenue management operations.

Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and recommend new tools, technologies, or methodologies to enhance revenue performance.

 

10. Support and Training

Support the revenue management team in training other departments (e.g., reservations, front office) on revenue management principles and practices.

Provide ongoing support to property teams to ensure alignment with revenue strategies.
