Job Objective

Lead the development of revenue strategies to maximize profitability, using data-driven insights to optimize pricing, distribution, and market positioning. Collaborate with department heads to align revenue goals with overall business objectives.

Essential Job Tasks

• Develop and oversee long-term revenue strategies.

• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor performance, and hotel metrics.

• Lead cross-functional teams to align revenue management with broader business goals.

• Manage overall pricing strategy, distribution channels, and demand forecasting.

• Provide guidance to revenue management teams across multiple properties or departments.

Areas of Responsibility

• Revenue Strategy Leadership: Full authority over developing and executing revenue management strategies across the hotel or multiple properties.

 

• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Authority to lead discussions and decisions impacting sales, marketing, and operational strategies related to revenue performance.

 

• Pricing and Distribution Control: Ultimate decision-making power for room pricing, distribution channels, and promotional tactics, including rate parity and contract negotiation.

 

• Team Leadership and Development: Responsible for managing and developing the revenue management team, including training and performance evaluations.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Bachelors Degree in Hospitality, Business or any other discipline

Preferred – Masters degree in Hospitality, Business or any other discipline.

Analytics or Mathematics background

Good knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint

Work Experience

6-8 years of experience in Revenue Management

Languages Needed in Position

English
