Job Objective

Essential Job Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Revenue Strategy & Forecasting
    • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room revenue and overall profitability.
    • Prepare accurate forecasts for occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room).
    • Analyse historical data, market trends, and competitor performance to adjust pricing strategies.
  2. Pricing & Inventory Control
    • Manage room rates and inventory across all distribution channels (OTA, brand website).
    • Ensure rate parity and compliance with brand standards.
    • Monitor overbooking levels and adjust strategies to minimize risk.
  3. Market Analysis & Reporting
    • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly revenue analysis reports.
    • Track performance metrics such as RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy against budget and forecast.
    • Identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaboration & Communication
    • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Front Office teams to align revenue strategies.
    • Participate in weekly revenue meetings and present performance updates.
    • Provide training and guidance on revenue management principles to relevant staff.
  5. Technology & Systems Management
    • Utilize Revenue Management Systems (RMS) (IDEAS / Synxis / Lighthouse), Property Management Systems (PMS), and Channel Managers effectively.
    • Stay updated on latest tools and technology for revenue optimization.

Areas of Responsibility

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel and RMS tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
